For the bigger audience abroad, Harry Hendriks is one of the many relatively unknown fanciers who perform super on the extreme long distance flights in The Netherlands. Harry lives in Vinkeveen, which is near Amsterdam, in the strong extreme long distance province Noord-Holland where so many good marathon fanciers live!
One thing is 100% sure: his competitors in Noord-Holland know Harry from his great results and his top pigeons who seem to enjoy the hardest races, the more difficult the circumstances are the more his pigeons excel …
In the past, when Harry and his late father raced as Combinatie Hendriks, they were hard to beat with their Deurwaarder-Pronk pigeons which originate from GEBROEDERS KUYPERS, ANDRIANUS VAN DER WEGEN and JEF VAN WANROY. Especially the van Wanroy strain of pigeons was very succesful in that period, 1990-2010 at Harry Hendriks. Many early birds, victories and prestigious championships were won together with his father. 1st Provincial Noord-Holland Emperor ZLU flights is the one title Harry remembers well and is still proud of!
Since about five years Harry freshened up his older strain of birds and crossed them with pigeons from other top fanciers at the moment: Comb. Baas-Berg, Tim Hage, Comb. Verweij-de Haan and Gebr. Jacobs.
With these “Harry Hendriks 2.0 pigeons”, Harry Hendriks boosted his breedingloft and returned in the top!

3rd Super League Fondunie – semi national long distance club (Pau, Barcelona, Marseille, Perpignan)
Also Harry Hendriks has the 2nd Best International Hen PiPa ranking all international flights with “MISS LEEUWARDEN” on his loft !
