Hans Radstaak has made a remarkable advance on the marathon flights in recent years. Substantial investments have been made together with his pigeon friend Peter Colenbrander (“De Consternatie”), in good pigeons that are purchased directly from fanciers who belong to the national top of the marathon (Batenburg – van de Merwe, Jelle Jellema, Frank Zwiers, Arjan Beens, Verweij – de Haan).

 

Only the best was good enough to lift his loft to the great level of performances since 2019.

Hans is an avid fan of the pigeons from Batenburg – v/d Merwe and has purchased several direct pigeons from the very best lines in pigeon racing. It is therefore no coincidence that these lines surfaced again in recent marathon flights. Hans Radstaak won the 2nd NPO Limoges against 1,804 pigeons with a pure Batenburg – van de Merwe pigeon.
